A fantastic way so see and taste Auckland.
A totally stress-free travel experience being picked up and returned to the hotel and driven to a variety of sites in Auckland. Elle's expert knowledge of food, wine and culture provided a great insight into life in Auckland. We had plenty to eat and drink without over-indulging. The variety of food suppliers visited would satisfy anyone and the wine tasting was fun.
Excellent! Well Worth it we had a great time!
Elle was fantastic and we look forward to trying out all the suggestions she made for us. Serena and I really enjoyed the tour and will be high recommending this to our family and friends.
Wonderful introduction to the city and tastes of Auckland! Very outgoing, high energy, accommodating guide. Lots of fun!
Thank you so much for an amazing week
I had a great time with Elle and The Big Foody Tours. Thank you for everything. I love the Feijoa chutney!!!
Great Fun
We had a great fun morning. Thanks for all the advice on where to eat in Auckland.
Unexpectedly fabulous tour of a little part of Auckland, with lots of interest and top food .... Sweet!
Our guide's knowledge of Auckland was impressive and she made the made the morning relaxed and enjoyable with her chirpy personality. The food tasting was OMG awesome, the wine tour of the whole country ;-) very clever and fun. And lunch... what can we say... Wow! A couple of items on the seafood menu that one of us would not normally eat, at home, were sooo delish that 'one of us' now wants to try to replicate them, so both of us can enjoy them again. Cannot recommend this tour highly enough.
Thanks Ellie
Great orientation and company
Lovely afternoon trip to key parts of Auckland with good nibbles. Elle is an excellent host!
Enriching and fun
Very insightful trip and fantastic breakfast and lunch. Elle is an excellent host!
Really worthwhile, learning and seeing food in Auckland
Very enjoyable, Elle is such a people person and her knowledge of food and wine is great, also her knowledge of Auckland and surrounding area is very impressive both food wise and history and culture wise. A great idea for a girls day out (or a foody guys day out).
Exceeded all expectations
My love of food and the people who make, grow or raise it made for an unforgettable experience in getting to know Auckland an surrounds.
Great introduction to New Zealand!
Elle is a personable, knowledgeable tour guide. She picked up my husband and me at our hotel, asked what we were interested in, and proceeded to guide us around Aukland on a customized tour which included, among other things, a fascinating visit to the seafood market and a fabulous pastry shop. We had a great time with her and left with recommendations for several restaurants for our dinner and breakfast.
Best Experience
After wine-tasting our way from one end of New Zealand to the other, Belinda and I have returned to the States where we are experiencing symptoms of "Down Under" withdrawal. We had a terrific vacation, and you are part of it. Thanks so much for the really enjoyable tour in Auckland. You are a trooper and a terrific guide. I may have a photo or two in my camera that I will forward to you separately. Best wishes for continued success!
